CT Advanced Radiographer Department: Imaging Band 7 £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (pro rata if Part-Time) Full-time 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working. We are looking for Radiographers who are specialists in CT with extensive experience in this modality and who are keen to progress their career in our department by being committed to excellent patient care. There will also be a requirement to participate in the Out-of-hours service. It is an exciting time to join our team at Milton Keynes Imaging Department. We are expanding with a new scanning centre set to open in 2026 and two Community Diagnostic Centres at Whitehouse Park and Lloyds Court already in place. Our Imaging Department has a wide range of imaging modalities and has a Trust wide PACS. Visit our website to catch up on our latest news. • To takean active part in the supervision and training of radiographers, APs and student radiographers with their individual development needs in mind and to provide induction support and mentorship to new members of staff. • To shareadvanced CT knowledge and skills with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work within and support the multi-disciplinary team. • Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with all areas within Radiology and with associated clinical areas within the Trust acting as a point of advice for referrers and patients when clarification is needed. • To contribute to service improvements and re-design in line with national and local service strategies, National Service Frameworks, NICE guidance, and emerging relevant NHS policies. • Deputise for the lead and deputy lead radiographers in operational management when required and to undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as directed by the Ionising radiation operational lead. • To undertake flexible working hours including nights and demonstrate working practices as required for the efficient running of the CT service. This will involve managing the radiographic team out of hours when required to do so. • To contribute to a professional, high quality, effective, flexible, and efficient radiology service implementing best practice, local and national guidelines and policies.
